Hvad er ravjagt ?

Når det stormer, skyller spændende ting ind på strandene og det er tang, skaller, træskykker og selvfølgelig rav. Du kan finde rav ved alle Danske kyster men især vesterhavet har længe været eftertragtet da det meste rav kommer ind her. Slebne ravsmykker har en smuk gylden farve. Men det rav, du finder på stranden, ser ikke altid sådan ud. Det kan fx være sort eller hvidt. En ravlygte er en lommelygte der lyser med et specielt lys som er lilla og ved hjælp af en ravlygte bliver det meget lettere at finde rav da det vil lyse op på stranden, næsten som en stjernehimmel. En ravlygte bruger man ofte i mørket da det så er meget lettere at se ravet hvilket ikke kan lade sig gøre med en almindelig lommelygte. Hvad kan jeg bruge rav til ?

I modsætning til guld har rav den egenskab, at det bliver meget mere værd, hvis det indeholdet insekter eller andre ting som feks. grene og bladrester.
